In light of the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, there are so many who need our help, both nationally and locally within our own Diocese. There are on-going relief efforts in Haiti and much aid needed in Afghanistan. Bishop Checchio has created the Emergency Disaster Fund – proceeds will be used to support the efforts of Catholic agencies as they work to aid emergency relief efforts locally and nationally, unless otherwise specified. Contributions will be used for immediate emergency needs, such as water, food, shelter, and medical care and in long-term rebuilding and recovery efforts. You may donate online at diometuchen.org or mail a check made payable to “Diocese of Metuchen” with “Emergency Disaster Fund” in the memo line. More information is available on the diocesan website at D-I-O-METUCHEN DOT ORG. Please give generously, as your means allow, to help our brothers and sisters who are most in need at this time.
