Registration for new students for the 2012-2013 school year will take place in the school office from Monday, February 13, 2012 through Friday, February 17, 2012, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance at our school is based on the following criteria:
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS ARE:
1. Each family is asked to provide 60 hours of service to the school (more information to come)
2. There is one mandatory fundraiser in the fall (more information to come)
3. Attendance at H.S.A. meetings and support of the H.S.A. projects.

Priority will be given to those who are registered parishioners of St. Helena Parish.
All new students will be tested/screened before acceptance is final.
St. Helena School admits students regardless of race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally afforded or made available to students at the school. Full Day PreK - 8:00 am - 2:20 pm
Child must be 4 years of age by October 1, 2012
Medical Records must be up to date regarding shots and boosters
Full Day Kindergarten - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
A child must be 5 years of age by October 1, 2012
Kindergarten students will be expected to take the Kindergarten Readiness Test
First Grade - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
A child must be 6 years of age by October 1, 2012
Grades 1-8 - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Sudents will be tested on material covered in Math, Reading and English on their grade level
All new students will be tested/screened before acceptance is final.

Tuition is per year and it isbilled in 2 payments. The first half is due on or before August 1, and the second half is due on or before February 1.
Tuition is paid directly to the school office.

Most fees are included in the re-registration (registration) fee, however, there are times when students are involved in other programs or
activities that require additional fees such as athletic programs, graduation, class trips, drama, art, etc.
Tuition assistance is available to Catholic Families who are actively involved in their parish in the Diocese of Metuchen
through the Foundation for Catholic Education. This is an endowment fund that was established
to provide financial support to low
and moderate income families. Application forms may be obtained from the school office.
The deadline for submission is March 31, 2012 and is strictly adhered to.
Flynn and O'Hara provides our school uniforms. Orders can be placed through the school in the spring.

Fund-raising is a great source of income to our school. All fund-raising activities are voluntary, except for the Christmas Raffle. We do encourage support of these activities.
